Zayla’s Paws is named in memory of Dr. Mahlberg’s first dog, Zayla — a soulful Rottweiler who inspired a lifelong commitment to gentle, relationship-based care. Many pets are misunderstood or need a little more time and patience. That’s why Dr. M created a mobile practice that slows things down and sees each animal as an individual.
With advanced training in senior pet care and a passion for working with anxious or reactive animals, Dr. Mahlberg brings medical skill and emotional intelligence into every visit. Appointments are never rushed. Questions are always welcome, and owners are encouraged to be fully present throughout the entire experience.
